Don’t quit your day jobs.
I also had a Decware Zen amp on order and decided that wait is way too long (and could be extended at any time). I decided to build a Bottlehead Stereomour II for the second system and absolutely love this integrated. Some soldering skill is required, but they’re also offering a 15% discount on black Friday & Monday. Great people to work with if you have any issues as well. Highly recommended.
Two years is a long time to wait in this day and age with WWIII looming on the horizon.
Black Friday coupon good for a complete online order on Black Friday ONLY: BLACKFRIDAY22
Decware seems like a cult. Is it correct that Decware people camp out in the woods together at some kind of amplifier jamboree?
I was curious about Decware for a brief moment, then I went to the record store instead.
No, because that would start a forest fire.
(Decware bros: Comedy intended)
Yes, that’s true. I’m thinking of going to the next one. But the first sound of a banjo playing and I’m outa there.
Thats hilarious. You have to be over 60 in order to get the reference.
I have snow tires older than 60
I am thinking that a few on the Decware wait list may not survive long enough to get their amps. I almost signed up for one of the Torr2’s but didn’t think the wait would be prudent. They sure seem to be a rock solid simple piece of great sounding kit.
I’m 58 and get it🙂
It definitely increased the compound bow sales figures that year.
Poor Ned Beatty took one for the team.
Received a similar notice from Decware, and it indicated over two years, which I confirmed with Sarah by phone. Nice equipment, but two years just doesn’t work for me. Anyone interested in a new Decware ZEN SE84UFO25 and/or ZEN SE84UFO with anniversary mod may PM me. They’ll be going up for sale in late winter early spring.
I can’t even register at the Decware site, I’ve tried numerous times, what’s up with that.
I’d suggest giving Sarah a call. It’s a small shop, lightly staffed.
The Decware facility, East Peoria. The Mothership.
The Decware showroom/listening room.
The ZEN SE84UFO25 SET amplifier, at the Mothership.
Unless it’s Bela Fleck or Rhiannon Giddens. Then you are gonna have to thumb wrestle me for a seat up front.
This is what happens when everybody offshores all production to globally few or even a single production sites. It needs only a little grain of sand into economic mechanisme and the entire downstream economy and consumers are in trouble.
This blind site of global economists and us consumers wanting cheaper products is hitting us. And it will hit us harder and harder. Here we worry about the lack of electronic components. This is harmless compared to critical lack of medication that starts to hit our health care. In The Netherlands environmentalist stupidity now also wants to shut down the entire farming industry because of nitrogen oxides it generates. Those knucklehead’s seem to live in the illusion that food grows in cans. The truth is that it doesn’t. Also their children will need something to eat. By the time they realize, the children will curse the generation that offshored also the entire farming industry.
I am for global economy as a certain dependency guarantees peace. I also enjoy visiting and learning about different cultures. It is great to work with foreign people that bring new perspective. But offshoring everything, has only to do with stupidity and greed for which we will pay the price.
