I wish you luck. It is a near impossible task to hide the cables and maintain the hide.
Ask for an upgrade?? I just do it!
A superb way to accomplish this look.
When I was working on my room for the system I trenched the cement floor and put in pipes from the center front to my rear speaker positions and to the sweet spot so I could have a transport, etc. at hand.
Tho, in general you’ll get better sound segregating and separating your wires to cut down interference:
I’m very neat with cables, but love to look at the gear. Except for the blue lights on the SPP that is…great phono stage but gotta do away with the LED’s on the face plate (or make them defeat-able) I currently have a piece of black tape over them, which looks like s**t also
Sry, didn’t intend to derail the topic at hand
Love the “live edge” table! did you make it yourself?
Best,

If you were to bundle power cables to make one thick pipe like object, would that mess with the sound in a negative way? Since mine are a complete mess currently, I have chosen to believe making them touch just a little here and there results in better sound. I do try to do all power vertically and all signal horizontal. With a new system and rack system on the way all cables will be seen. I was thinking of attaching black cloth on each shelf so it looks continuous all the way but it still allows for easy access. And the cables get to still be messy.
That’s a great idea. I am not a neat freak and my cable routing is a mess so this trick might be just the ticket.
