All this happened while I was sleeping (I am on vacation in Europe).

This is funny considering you supported the guy and emboldened himâŠ.
I support anyone who is getting attacked. ANONYMOUS asked a simple question, and several people gave him all sorts of flack and attitude in response. All I did was apologize to him for that treatment.

I expect the group to be self-censoring to a degree as to what is proper or improper behavior, but he was in fact getting picked on. Arguably some of this was justified. This however got out of hand, provoking his over the top responses. There is enough blame to go around.
More importantly, the thread is cleaned up, no one is hospitalized, and the sun came up this morning. So letâs move on.

Indeed, I donât think ANONYMOUS is a bad person. He offered me help with my vacation in France, and even sent me his email and phone number. He just gets completely out of control sometimes, which is absolutely not ok. The language barrier probably doesnât help.
Anyway, like you said, back to sharing our passion for music, and systems that allow us to connect with it. Like Paul said, if the emotion doesnât go through, keep looking.

He seemed to enjoy the jazz thread as well, with great insights and a welcome different perspective. Even though on more than one occasion he chose to poke the bear. To be honest sometimes the bear needs a friendly benign poke, but the bear is a bear.
