You’ll get a lot of different opinions on this. I think you can tweak any input and get great sound. Some think that the bridge has a leg up (i.e. take less tweaking for than other inputs to get to a particular level of sound.) If TOSLink has the bandwidth you need it could well be the best input since it doesn’t have any groundloop issues. No one seems to say they use his option - optical usb - toslink with added bandwidth.
