I think my system is complete...at least for now

I have Stellar Strata, Stellar Phono Preamp, Stellar PowerPlant 3, Fluance RT85 turntable, Onkyo DX-C390 6-Disc CD Carousel Changer, WiiM Ultra streamer and Aspen FR5 speakers and stands. Let’s not forget the Audiophile’s Guide book set.

There’s a few things I could probably upgrade in the future but I’m good for right now. Am I missing anything you would add without going separates?

Now I’m going to focus on saving for acoustic treatment and maybe a Emerald carbon fiber acoustic guitar…and vinyl.

This is a dangerous question with this group, lol.
PMG512 DAC, PMG preamp, future PMG amp, FR20’s + REL subs, and crazy-expensive interconnect and power cables. Or another route would include a Gryphon Diablo 333 integrated amp instead of separate pre and power amps.
But all kidding aside, congrats on your system as it is, and in being happy with your system. The rabbit hole can be deep.

Everyone’s journey is different and there is no right way, as long as you’re happy with the journey. But always keep an open mind or ear. You’ll never know what you might find. Relax and enjoy the ride.

I’m not sure if it’s about appreciating the music more by constantly upgrading or just an uninged compulsion. Probably a little bit of both.

The never-ending question that we all have to solve for ourselves. At what point does one stop upgrading? There are always better amplifiers, better preamps, better DAC’s, better interconnect, better power cables, better speakers out there. I bought the FR20’s 2.5 years ago, and needed to upgrade the rest of my system to do them justice. I have finally reached a plateau that I sm satisfied with. But are there still more upgrades that I could make? Sure, I could use several super-expensive power cables. I could even upgrade my amplifier, which is already quite satisfying.

After the upgrades I have made, the musical satisfaction from my system is better than ever, as listening to music is pure joy.

For me it’s been finding the right level of quality. I think I’ve reached my level now. But I do enjoy reading about other peoples journey and following the industry in general. I find all the sources available nowadays very interesting. Great entertainment. I remember back pre internet days when it was pretty much Stereophile and The Absolute Sound and their sporadic publishing schedule was slim pickings.

And everyone’s journey is different. It is fun reading about the varying journeys that others are on. Some journeys are not for me, other journeys would be perfect for me if I had limitless funds. But it’s all good. By being active on the forum, we are able to learn about new gear, and new directions from forum members, and potential future endeavors. We are more advanced than other forums, but not because of me, but I am glad to be a part of it.

I hardly know anyone in the real world that doesn’t involve screens and such that shares my passions. I know lots of people through screens and such that do. My life is richer for it. We live in a wonderful time in history where we can share passions through technology. Streaming has come along as well that’s a wonder. I really don’t understand it but I don’t care. I’ll take what’s given.
