The dynamic range numbers on Bob Seger’s forthcoming album are abysmally low, based on this three-song sampler. Seger and his fans deserved better from those involved in making this album.

Lots of nice songs don’t pass a DR of three. In that case, 5 or 6 seem nice.
If these Seger songs are straight forward rock songs, I wouldn’t expect higher DR values, nor see the added benefit of these.

In my experience, DR3 would be borderline unlistenable, and DR5-6 is just barely passable. While I cannot get the whole album in one screenshot, Bob Seger’s Greatest Hits has an average DR of 9 (with the fourteen tracks ranging from DR7 to DR10):
