When should you be thinking about replacing the tubes in a M1200? I have three years and it runs on average about 3 hours a day.
Also any suggestions on what tubes to buy as a replacement?
12AU7 Is stock replacementā¦ prob notice more of a difference changing fuses, I hear stock tubes are actually pretty good.
You get 10,000 hours of listening maybe 15K before needing replacement. Thats like 8-9 years for you, but 5years in pay attention for critical listening, and honestly after 7or8 years prob best to refresh.
You will notice when the āmagicā is no longer there. The life will disappear from the system.
