Positive experience over here too using the iFi 9v iPower (on P10) with the Matrix running Audioquest Diamond USB from the Melco N1ZS10 to the Matrix. Could be usb-power-source dependent, the P10 could also play a significant role…

So just ordered mine up from the USA distributor. (Thanks dancingsea for the email - that worked).
So when do I receive the welcome packet with the matrix pin/ bottle opener w matrix logo / and ‘certified club member’ certificate???

That…right there… was worth the 300 bucks !!! :).
I am going to run it initially w no power supply and a Best Buy hdmi cable might be a monster not sure. I’ll prob get to the ifi and possibly a better hdmi as we go.

Has anyone tried the Pangea Premier HD23PC SE HDMI cable with the Matrix, or elsewhere? I like the idea of the Cardas copper, though this cable is only 10GBps vs the 18 that Paul has recommended…

I think it’s much more fun to take it a step at a time. That’s what I’ve done for the last 50 years. 
Somewhere in the mass of posts I’ve read, Paul wrote that 18GBps is best suited for PS Audio gear. I don’t recall him elaborating beyond that. Bootzilla’s el cheapo and the Mocha are both 18… FWIW…

Happy with my Monster UHD 4K platinum HDMI (27Gbps) between the Matrix and DSsr, though after finding a (dutch) dealer selling them at 70% discount, i just now ordered a new Audioquest Mocha HDMI.
Curious about the results, should arrive within 2 days…

Do they sell a 1/2 meter length? I learned from a DSMP thread that sounds best if you can find it.
Unfortunately only in 1 meter length…(my Monster is 60cm)
