Musicians and sound quality - Why the disconnect?

Not to mention that musicians…play their own live music…

First, portability is the most important thing. Secondly, your Roland (and my Yamaha, etc) are not instruments. They are the equivalent of a Whirlpool dishwasher. So, get in, do the gig as painlessly as possible, get the money and go home.

Here an interesting read…no wonder when musicians prefer kind of seemingly omnidirectional sounding speakers (even if no omni design)

Great endorsements, Dave Holland, Ron Carter, Billy Drummond.,… Makes me think the bottom end and highs are a strength, what with a 12" woofer, AMT tweeter, and open baffle design. I wonder if there is any US distribution. Apparently this is from a 2011 interview.

That is some good reading to be lurking around on thanks!

Another good read to munch on thanks!!

Yeah, if you go on the manufacturer’s homepage, you’ll find more musicians as customers and high end freaks as well as the one or other show report.

Would be interesting to hear those speakers at occasion.

Got my curiosity as well. I have reached out to Tetra. I see the web site was active in 2011, not much since. Oh well, great idea IMO.
