I’ve had the BHK 250 and BHK 300’s on Maggie 1.7’s for many years and have cranked them hard. No shutdowns. The Maggie do like lots of stable, clean current. Wendell ( Maggie’s sales manager who’ve I’ve know since the 70’s) would tell you the same. I haven’t tried the 1200’s on them but BHK amps were a good match from my perspective.

That’s cool. I assumed the fella who had both BHK250 and m1200 perhaps preferred the m1200 merely because of the extra headroom, but certainly possible he thought the m1200 was better than the 250 for other reasons I guess
