My new Stellar Power Plant 3 - very impressed!

It’s a divisive topic, there are two schools of thought and classes of application here.

My experience: I mainly use tube amplifiers. When I have had solid state amplifiers for comparison or my one chip amp as a back up in use Sine was bettter. But for 99 percent of use, my tube amplifiers, MultiWave (and High Regulation) is always used and yields the best results.

I’ve noticed others here use MultiWave, still other Sine.

I have preferred Multiwave off in each of the dozen or so times I have compared since getting my P3 years ago. To me, Multiwave sounds less dynamic, with rolled off high end on all of the (solid state) stereos I have connected my P3 to.

There is an old poll in another thread where 40% of us prefer Sine (Multiwave off) - Favorite multi wave level? - #16 by bootzilla

Interesting! Thank you. I find the poll fascinating and informative. Seems sine is actually the preference. That’s what I’ve been using and just thought about trying something new.
