Right, I saw that when I looked inside the Stratos, the XLR was only jumpered to the RCA Jack.

The amp showed up yesterday! One thing: I donât know how many banding straps were on it when it left PS, but there was only one left and it was barely on. I suggest 4 bands, 2 in each direction if itâs not already shipped that way.
On to the sound. Right out of the box, the BHK Preamp and BHK 250 amp sounded really good. PS combo has a much wider stage width and is a bit deeper. There is also body and weight to the sound that the Odyssey doesnât have.
Itâs still a tiny bit soft sounding, but very polished and smooth. As the preamp ran and got to around 100 hrs. (love that tube life counter) it opened up and gained some clarity & snap. Weâll see in a week or so as the amp runs for a while. Balanced cables are due today so once those are installed and more break in time happens things should be awesome.
