A review on Audiofilia y + on the aging MK1 DAC and Transport popped up on my feed. I like his channel’s content.
The Takeaway : After almost 12 years, it can still smoke most of it’s competitors in the sub $5k DAC market. While the MK2 (which I heard last year) betters the MK1 by a Country mile. The new PMG which I heard in NJ & Axpona is my “Dream DAC”.
Those of us who still have our MK1 DAC’s and Transports have nothing to fear.
He also mentions how cheap they are to come by on the used and refurb (PS Audio website) markets. A Bargoon compared to what’s offered from both overseas and here in North America.
Just mine (and I guess his) honest opinion. Right or Wrong.
