Did you use a polarization filter? The clouds came out really pronounced.
I usually do. But this may have involved some post processing as well especially in the b&w conversion.

Your wonderful photo reminded me of one I had taken 11 years ago with a Samsung Note 3 phone. This is Roxanne, who lived to the ripe old age of twenty.
This was an automatic focus, so I had nothing to do with the settings.
