I knew the origin of the cover art “template” but didn’t think much of it as I never actually used written music with my piano playing, just do everything I do by ear and imagination.
My guess is that it’s done a bit tongue in cheekily!
This recording it had some flavour that I don’t find nowhere; it must be the reel to reel taste of it, and I don’t know how they did (can not speak Japanese) but it seems they make a recording direct to reel to reel 30 IPs and DSD 256 simultaneous;
Sometime I feel the bass is little too much, but I think is because is a one microphone recording? Anyway the best microphone I ever had heard or maybe is the microphone set, the best thing is the piano sound sound like in a litle distance that makes the piano shine;
