Hi and happy Thanksgiving to all. Brett, sorry, I just started another MQA poll before I noticed yours. Mine is worded differently, so I think they are both viable. But if you want me to close mine so people focus on yours, please let me know. Thanks.
No worries. Thankfully weāre not trying to solve real problems like clean water and food for the world.
It doesnāt really make sense. The third option is both a yes and a no. You are grouping hi-rez, with redbook.
Often a MQA will be better than the earlier 16/44 file, but not as good as say a 24/192 download.
I donāt think it is the MQA codec, but the fact that it has come from the actual master, while some CDs and 16/44 files were not from the master. And does anybody think a MQA file that has not had the first unfold sound better than one that had the first unfold?
I will take a look at the other poll, maybe that will have choices that I can agree with.
Iāve youāve not listened to an MQA album not unfolded, I recommend you try it. The FLAC is lurking inside leveraging the ābetterā master (in some cases).
I spent hours compiling these questions through a rigorous scientific method known as I made them up in seconds and created a poll. (Sarcasm)
āIn some casesā pretty much covers all MQA.
It really does not make sense combining RBCD and hi-rez.
As you said, not really important, not real world stuff. It is your poll, I couldnāt find a choice I could agree with, as I already explained.
āspent hours compiling these questions through a rigorous scientific method known as I made them up in seconds and created a poll.ā
You lost me here, āspent hoursā, āmade them up in secondsā?
Iām sorry, just do it as you think best. I pointed out some flaws, that prevents me from participating.
