Preamplifiers, specifically Coincident(s)

Gentlemen (and any ladies snooping hereabouts),

Has anyone heard the Coincident Statement Line Stage, henceforth to be referred to as the CSLS?

I have done my research, my listening experiments, and arrived the conclusion that my next upgrade will be a preamp, rather than a DAC with analogue volume control. I know several people here are using the ARC ref 5SE. This is a preamp I would aspire to own. However, the CSLS beckons to me with its polished steel chassis, glowing 101D bottles, balanced design, dual transformer volume control and $5,499 “drive away” pricing. Coincident also claims no capacitors or resistors in the signal path.

What think ye, noble folk of the PSAudio forum?

You probably read this already but I thought I would post it anyway.

IM is certainly another highly respected member of the Canadian Audiophile Royalty.

Thank you Gordon, I hadn’t found that review. They all seem very positive. If no-one has heard it I may just have to bite the bullet.

Did you mean IB (Israel Blume) instead of IM?
