Another future option already open in some European countries.

I have my Toslink cable connected now and working but no Qobuz yet so only Pandora SQ . How does Qobuz through the Express/optical compare to a computer/USB do you know ?

For up to 96k PCM TOSLink has the potential to be better: No electrical noise issues. I can’t speak to the quality of the streaming services, but some internet radio is amazingly good.

Yes I was also interested in what the Express might do to SQ.

KPLU: NPR/Jazz: http://icy1.abacast.com/kplu-newsjazzaac-64

Linn Records has three high quality stations of Linn music: http://www.linn.co.uk/music#radio

KPLU has some wonderfully interesting mixes.

CBC Music also has great music in many genres.

Thanks Ted.

This is all getting amazingly complicated as playing music is getting more complicated than doing taxes.

Currently, I am using the simple “Plug Player” on my mac to wirelessly stream my collection from an NAS to my Directsteam. Not hard at all and plays without glitch. The next step will be to subscribe and connect to a hiresoultion streaming services such as QOBuz and then stream that wirelessly to my DSD. Will J River do that? Any other suggestions??

Thanks

Welcome, BreadPolaco763!

As a non Mac or J River user I do not want to hazard a guess, but someone more knowledgeable than I should stumble along soon.
