Pedantic indeed. That said the most recent in person piano performance I attended included a treated and prepared piano. At one point the Steinway was “played” by blowing through a trumpet, (the sound of rushing air over the strings) at the strings and sound board, the artist being Jaimie Branch. My apologies for the interruption, and now back to our regularly scheduled feature.
