Another question for Roon users.
Anyone else having very recent problems with the app? I use both iPad and iPhone with the latest Roon version. For the past week or so the app will have errors showing the artists (blank photos) and the app will freeze. Rebooting the phone or tablet temporarily fixes the issue, but then it comes back after only a few uses. Deleted and reinstalled Roon on iPad…no difference.
Perhaps an incompatibility with recent iOS update? Buggy Roon update? Thoughts?
I have been using it all morning on my iPad with no problems.
I have been seeing issues where song lyrics an Album Art doesn’t match what is playing using Roon app on the SGC i5 and Roon player daemon to my Theoreticca Bacc4mac feeding abig screen TV. The roon app on my iPhone or iPad is also behind on song. Eventually it will synch if I manually switch display to album art or kill app and bringit back up only to drift off later
Any chance the software is in reboot/update mode…?
I have been rebooting my Ipad every other day. Or I just use my phone. It’s an Apple issue. I am not used to such things. It happens with my MacBook as well.
On my iPad, the roon app is also freezing from time to time since a couple of weeks. Don‘t need to reboot the iPad, though. Just terminating the roon app and restarting it again helps.
