Question on vintage Linear Control Center

I have a PS Audio Linear Control Center that has been in my basement for many years. I am about to get a turntable for my basement system after going at least 25 years without one. How visually can I tell if the Linear Control Center includes a phono preamp or not? I was told by an audio friend that some of the units may have been produced with a MM phono section. I had always thought the kind of matching phono preamp was a separate unit. Only Paul may know the answer to this, as it is going back a ways. Thanks. LOL: I noticed today that the Linear Control Center has a really thin AC power chord. Maybe thin zipcord sourced from McGuckin’s back in the day!
