Seeking Advice - Installing Roon Nucleus + to Home Network - Cables & Storage?

I’m installing a Roon Nucleus + to my home network. I ordered standard CAT7 patch cables to connect everything together. Has anyone upgraded the ethernet cables to AQ Diamond, is there a benefit or sound quality improvement? If so, what patch cables in my system should be upgraded, between the modem and NAS?
I’m using Wifi to my AURALiC Aries G2 Digital Transports then USB Curious Evolve to DirectStream DAC.
There are five other ethernet connections off the managed switch.

Another question, does anyone have recommendations for a USB connected portable storage device and a NAS?

First of all I would cable everything, get rid of the wifi… I even tried to tear out the wifi card out of my G2 but that made it stop booting up again…
Secondly I would try XLR or RCA transfers between the G2’s and the DAC’s… Not much of a USB fan…
Third I would combine the storage of music on the same computer as the one running the Roon core…
Haven’t tested ethernet cables yet, but planning to do so soon…
Also decoupling the “data” network and the “audio” network with fiber…
Maybe try some audiophile switches…? Who knows…

Firstly I would use unshielded CAT 6a, I use Blue Jeans like many other people.

Run a fibre optic link from your switch to G2:
2 x TPLink media converters
2 x ifi 9v power
With the cables and bits will cost about $250.

The usb output has its own clock and galvanic isolation, so should be very good. Others here have commented how good it is.
I’ve tried, but never bought, expensive usb cables, with a Femto Aries, because I could hear no difference, so stuck with one of these for years. $60.

Find the “own clock” here…?

Galvanicly enough I would argue…
