This year’s tree. We do a different color combination each year.

Very different solution for a Christmas “tree” this year due to persistent allergies with the real thing and related hassles of hauling, trimming, disposing, etc. Fun project that turned out well. Note the little light up tree on the shelf. That thing must have “rice-sized” LEDs with RGB controllers on each. Very cool for about $15.

EDIT: Also note that the shelves have hinges to allow easy movement and storage.

If you look to the right of our tree, you’ll see the sacks waiting for the morning. We do stockings/sacks first then the wrapped boxes.

also in my room an old mini fibre optic tree that was broken years ago, now has an ultra bright LED bulb and a rather dodgy looking temporary power supply in a cardboard box
