Smells like teen spirit - Nirvana Nevermind
“Genie in a Bottle” - Christina Aguilera
Somewhat redundant clue when Teen Spirit itself is a scented deodorant.
I don’t follow. It’s probably blatantly obvious like the clue but I’m not understanding what your comment intends.

Sorry. It is not worth the energy to explain (and no one cares in any event).

I was surprised to see the Righteous Brothers since they were popular in the 60’s, but the search is for Pop songs from the 90’s. So I did a search and found the Righteous Brothers song was featured in the movie Ghost in 1990. Hmmmm, guess that counts. But I also found there have been several other versions, one of which is by Robson & Jerome in 1995. It was #1 on the UK song charts so that may be the version intended since the image is by a UK company. One interesting thing, for me at least, The “Robson” is Robson Green, a UK actor. He has been in several films/TV shows, but most recently he plays Geordie Keating in Grantchester. One of several shows from the UK with murder solving priests/vickers. Sorry for the ramble …
Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters
