Just a few inches back and forth may give better results with bass. I’m very happy being able to control reinforced or boomy bass from tracks I’m familiar with. Definition and clarity in that area seems to help a lot also other upper frequencies, bringing depth and realism.
Be patient and find the right position, that’s all!
