STEALTH Power Cords

demonstrating that there is no endgame

That is one way to run your business I guess.

Apple has created a business model where their customers wait in long lines to be the first to buy the new model to replace their six month old model. I have many friends who love to do this.
It seems like your world view involves a mirror.

A nice one from you.

I wish Stealth will become the leader in audio cables, but I serious doubt it.

It’s a year. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
For the record I wait 2 years and not in long lines.

Wasn’t Monster Cable and now Audioquest beholder of that title? I know many people’s opinion on Audioquest and Monster Cable.

AudioQuest probably is now, and their AD is top notch I’ll say, regardless how they actually sound.

I agree completely with Al. How and why would we ever want to hold back a creative mind?
It’s like all the complaining about the new PMG gear. Paul, et.al. had some fresh ideas and made them a reality that we can enjoy. That’s a problem?

I can’t conceive that Stealth has a business model.
A small engineering-driven company often rests its laurels on its designs and hope that “build it and they will come” will happen. Since there are vague product introductions, differentiations and detail, that seems to be the case.
I’m all for honoring the vagaries of genius if it is also put in the context of the real world. If one makes an investment in the next best thing, as promoted by “the man” himself, only to be summarily downgraded days later, is disingenuous at best.
To my knowledge Stealth dealers are as blind to this intro as we are. It’s tough to be a line representative when the market receives info before you do and any of your inventories just got devalued.
Sour grapes? Probably. Given the considerable investment in the full Stealth loom, or any multi-unit
product, piece of mind and at least a reasonable confidence that it will be top in its class, is part of that purchase experience.

I posted on PMG thread before that that it should be the way to go; I only said the trade-in value is lower than expected (from their past practice).

It is no issue either for a creative mind to come up with new ideas, but I disagree that every time a new idea comes up a new product needs to be produced. Of course, Stealth can do whatever they want since it is a one-man company. But I am simply disagreeing that is the right way to go.

I am very happy with CGLE by the way.

This isn’t about holding back genius. I love the product. It’s the less than genius information, marketing, positioning, introducing, etc. that tarnishes the product. At the prices charged, it less than amateur.
Rant over.

But when you bought that great thing it was a great thing. And it still is after the new thing comes along. No?

That I agree with. He’s a terrible marketer.

For me, procrastination has paid off.
Or is it a lack of funds to purchase a component-level cable at a component-level price?

Yes, still great. Just a bad taste in my mouth that the guy who was telling me “X” was the way to go, had a better “Y” waiting in the wings.

I sleep better not interpreting the X,Y scenario as bad intentions.

I get that. I was unfortunately fully awake during those discussions.

In April, I spoke with his youngest son about other companies having both copper and silver in their cabling.
:man_facepalming:

I just had to solve for x with a work math problem.

But his cables are good. I could use multiple reallys yet again but refrained.
