I noticed in the manual you can change the volume to the Stellar Strata from 100 to a lower number. I have just set mine to 80 as I felt that might protect the speakers if someone accidentally hit the volume to max levels of 100. But I was wondering does that affect the play back (headroom etc) doing so? I was thinking it was merely just a change in max allowed overall and not affect performance levels?
I use the Stellar for LP playback and digital (not home theatre).

I don’t think it will affect the head room at all. I believe that it is exactly there for the reason you are using it.

Thank you I thought so too only got a bit worried because when I mentioned it to someone they asked would adjusting the max volume to lower affect the Sound Quality then I started to wonder myself
