Strictly Jazz Sounds (Part 2)

As I didn’t get to complete the listening of this last evening (phone call . . . I’m beginning to hate phones again) . . . I’m re-listening.

A good thing. This is setting a nice tone for the morning.

It was just a tip for members who buy vinyl. I like the vinyl copy of that album. Those who enjoy vinyl might care.

I sure do care as others in this thread may be interested in alternative formats. A top performance and the recent reissue is sonically stellar!

I was just being facetious.

The SACD of this one in the Japanese series is coming out later this month, I’ve pre-ordered. I’m only buying the Coltrane titles in this series, the only ones released so far that I keep buying over and over for some reason.

I hope you realize from my smilies I was just being facetious. I know others care, and why. I also would think it’s a given that all in this series in either format are great sounding. My comment was more along the lines of how great the system sounded with this disc this time. The system is evolving in a positive manner with a new set of output tubes and a new hot-rodded preamp in place.

Hard to tell on a thread as sarcasm etc is not easily conveyed on the threads. I have struggled with it my self many times .
I do enjoy the performance to great degree.
Edit:
As well as my lousy typing on an iPhone surface.

I had a smilie before and after! I mean. . . it’s hard to be clearer.

Nope. I’m deeply offended and our friendship is on hold until at least 6 o’clock tonight.
