I like this band. Hard to believe it has been more than 30 years when this first came out.

Good evening. Thank you so much for the reminder to go pull this cd from the shelf. I respect a number of recordings from this period, and think they are quite lively. Played this recording after Blue Interlude. Joe Henderson makes the proceedings worth a listen. Wonderful to experience a mature player among young lions.

Circa 1970, Joe was at his best.
Elegant, masterful playing by Joe Pass, with Eberhard Weber–bass, Kenny Clare–drums.
And the sound quality is delicious; instrument placement, sound stage depth is as good as it gets.
