Some time ago I bought The art of hifi, volume 01: Bass on SACD. Last week “Santa” gave me the volumes 02 to 06 and I really like the Art of hifi serie, they sound very good. Great recordings!
I listen to a wide variety of music genres, but for me it started with synth pop, new wave and heavy metal in the early eighties. Listening to volume 06: guitars, I was pleasantly surprised with the last track: The Jimi Hendrix song Manic Depression performed by Connor Terrones.
I really hope you’ll record more (hard) rock in the future
Agree they are very good and all and more PS Audio Octave recordings are also available on NativeDSD in bundles helping to reduce overall cost. Well done everyone involved.
Getting more well recorded DSD out there to the public can only be good for music overall.
So far I only have The Art of HiFi Bass in DSD 128 and it is an amazing listen. I do plan on buying the others for a full set. I’m with you on wanting some harder rock stuff.
