FYI - I have let Delia know what happened here. In the end we are very very small use case audience for them to worry about, but maybe its something simple they did they can undo.
mahalos - am moving equipment, adding an NAS etc this week, so will end up powering down everything at some point so hoping that solves thingsā¦meanwhile over in Maestro-land, a pestilence persists preventing connection.. and Roon has doubled (literally every album appears twice) my music storage while finding multiple corrupt albums thay werenāt there before (when only using Zen Mk3 HD) - the upshot perhaps is i am finally learning a bit of patienceā¦ well see if the issues subside
after emailing Delia she suggested to unplug everything from the dac and let it discharge overnight. Did that two nights ago. Last night hooked up and good. Turned off and let it sit overnight. Good tonight. No static. Happy times.

The kii3 set that I am using are not perfect by any chanceā¦..BACCH makes a subtle but yet huge difference. And I have to confess that I am still a little messed up. In the last 6 months since stratos, the best crosstalk cancellation I can get is 8.5 to 9. Starting from about 5. Room full of rockwool panels. Itās very much a work in progress to get decent height and any back sound. Have a few ideas but they are getting increasingly difficult in my circumstancesā¦ā¦
Someone encouraged me to catch up on this thread because of the crap being stirred up by some rabbit-obsessed nut tossing aside $400K of gear for some $14K speakers. 
Admittedly, I keep telling this nut that I will go visit him, and every time I fail. Unfortunately, certain priorities keep detaining me from doing so, so I donāt have firsthand experience with this new setup. I hope to be over at @aangenās soon to listen to them.
That said, I wanted to set something straight. The magic Al is experiencing isnāt limited to the Janszen, though part of it may be. Itās just that BACCH naturally works best with planars and electrostats because of their dispersion / directive radiation pattern. They inherently do not generate first reflections like conventional speakers because of this radiation pattern, which gives BACCH a much better baseline to work from and to have less to cancel out.
For those who didnāt like panel speakers because of the radiation pattern, for say, they donāt cast as wide of a soundstage as many conventional speakers, the BACCH absolutely fixes that and can make your soundstage pretty much 270-degrees both in width and height. Totally immersive, while retaining natural depth. I type this while the SP is connected to my reference system driving the Clarisys Audio Piccolo Mk2 I demoed at AXPONA this year.
One other potential benefit the Janszens (might) have is that they are not dipole. This reduces reflections from the front wall, which is theoretically beneficial, but it may also result in a loss of ambient information in terms of space, air, decay, depth. Again, yet something else the BACCH can correct / compensate for.
In my experience, being a dealer for BACCH and for many different types of speakers, BACCH simply works best with stats and planars. But Iāve also found that (and Edgar will disown me for this), that the electronics and cables still matter, and frankly, quite a lot. Again, being a dealer, I do have to swap gear, cabling and accessories often. I still have a favorite stack with the BACCH that I will return to. That gear is responsible for control/gravitas, tonality, harmonics, and grace, and an overall the accuracy of natural presentation in the music.
We went with GIK Acousticsās advice and panels, weāre very pleased with the how the room looks and the sound is fantastic.

Am still gobsmacked by my new B4Mā¦ listening to an Internet Archive stream of the Dead at Tower Theater June 21, 1976 and cannot wrap my head around the soundstage, precison.etc. Palpable, feels like I should be surrounded by smelly hairy creatures - like I was in days long gone.
I just wanted to give it a try, see the difference from my CD bootlegs, but even off this archive, it sounds amazing. Might drop some acid before my wife gets home just because, I donāt know 
The kicker, I sold my Dynaudios to buy B4M, and am using my āBā set speakers now (BMR Monitors) while awaiting the āFR15ā debut that has the FR20 midrange and the FR10 footprint (one can hope, no?).
Donāt miss the Dynaudios at all.
The Martina Speakers are really starting to get to me. Made a new filter tonight and damn, this is not fooling around. The Kii 3BXTs are in for some tight competition.
Wish we could hear the Martinaās vs Kii vs CLX/Apex/Commander w/Bacch!
Sometimes I think the Martinas sound a little gritty. But then I wondered if the grit was never presented properly with my normal gear. Can grit be a plus?
What next? Neediness becomes attractive? Itās a slippery slope.
I admit that I havenāt kept up with this thread, but Iām certainly intrigued by it. Iām a Mac guy and It looks as if a Mac mini would take the place of my Roon Nucleus and would also be suitable to run BACCH.
Iām wondering if the Mac version of this system would give me enough of a taste of the BACCH effect to justify the purchase of a Mac mini along with the BACCH software.

I had no idea what that really meant or to what extent until after B4M entered my system. Went against everything this crusty old analogue guy ever thought - adding something in the signal path can help!? Well, as Edgar will explain, it doesnāt add anything, just removes and cleans up. Leaving you with in hifi bliss. The 30 day return window certainly helped move the needle, but I made a major committment upfront by selling speakers to pay for it. Best equipment decision Iāve ever madeā¦ With B4M, my truly great bang for the buck BMR Monitors far outperform my Dynaudio Confidence 20s (sin B4M). Donāt miss them at all.
I have been proven wrong in a good way/had my eyes opened re digital by members of this forum such that my entire system sounds better than the $$ it cost me. Bonus: I could have snuck B4M in without the Minster of Finance even knowing! Try that with a new PRE DAC AMP etcā¦ Although she granted me permission in the end.
Now just gotta sort the the best way to store all my music etc - but am well on my way thanks to forum members.
Am away in L.A. next week. Boy will I miss my B4M!
My B4M was OOS for the past week I put it back in service tonight and it sounds wonderful!
@NipperDog Note tho that the Princeton BACCH Labs U-BACCH plug-in cannot be upgraded to full BACCH4Mac from the Theoretica site. Stick with the Theoretica site. Software upgrades are available in the store. Tho it can take some searching to find them. Us fanboys here simply recommend jumping in deep.
