Good idea but has anyone even been able to reach him the last 6 months? I thought I read somewhere that he is doing a DAC for a different company? But I have no idea where I read that , can’t remember
And thus it probably will never happen. However, Blue Sky was a great way to end IMO. I can live happily with that. The new PMG is undoubtedly a worthy successor but I really can’t convince myself to change anything. My MKII gives me everything that I want in a DAC and I’m completely satisfied with my digital chain as it stands.
I take that back. I am planning on adding the Maestro app to my digital chain when the iPad version is ready.
“Some time ago someone suggested that a group of MKII owners band together and offer a fee for additional updates from Ted. Nothing came of it however.
The forum member who suggested that has problems discerning reality from fantasy and spends way too much on audio gear. Don’t listen to him. 
The DSD MkI and MkII continue to live on and improve thanks to JK Richard’s at APS.
I’ll be hanging on to my DSD Mk1 for years to come, as it sounds absolutely stunning with the latest upgrades. Ted’s work is fully realized and appreciated when the internal hardware is brought up to the same level as the software.
Agree 100%. I just had my MK2 upgraded with the newest APS mods. Simply amazing what Ted Smith and PS Audio designed. With these new APS upgrades, it brings us closer to what I feel the TSS would bring. Upgrading these cost saving components PS Audio needed to do to bring these DACs to market is simply amazing. jkrichards stated long ago on these forums that these Directstream DACs will be one of the best available for a long time to come. This is so true.
