I have the Blue Note version, just redbook.
Great, thanks a lot!
Gladiator Special Anniversary Edition, Disc 2, intro to Track 9 All That Remains.
My son is a bass head. He says that the music should hit you in the chest before it makes it to your ears. Needless to say he has to keep knick-knacks duct taped to the shelves in his house.
Anything by Colter Wall
@Philipp_Schaefer - thanks and love that Lee Rit album… 2012… he needs more albums
As you can see from the pic, it’s a song that builds over time, and that last bass note is a subwoofer tester for sure.
Also, for bass dynamics and speed, “Can Utility and the Coastliners” and “Robbery Assault & Battery” by Genesis. Of course you can always break out “Squonk” or “Los Endos” as well for that Moog Taurus bass pedal sub-register.
John Williams, “The Imperial March”
For “live sounding” bass, try “Blue Moon Revisited” by Cowboy Junkies.
Looks to be a lot of bass heads here too.
Great bass lines in this one
Another nice vinyl one: David Lindley, “Quarter of A Man” from El Rayo X.
@umiami91 - Saw Blue Man in Vegas - 2:00; 4:00; 4:45 worth the wait and patience…
Yeah. They are awesome. That sub bass note is brutal.
@umiami91- Yeah, it as fun and they are great in person. That same week I was picked out of the audience in Vegas to do a skit on stage w/ cirque du soleil. That was a lot of fun… brought back stage met cast dressed up it was fun…
I’ve been to Las Vegas exactly one time, and I made sure to see them (at the Luxor). I was totally unprepared for the scale of their show.
I had one child who thought they were actually aliens from watching a DVD of their stuff.
Yeah - they shot streamers all over the audience and it was so cool. We don’t gamble or really drink much so we do Vegas for the shows. We live 5hr drive. We see bands there and just check out the shows…
