What I take from this is that ORC cannot eliminate but lessens severe peaks and valleys, assists in locating and correcting them, and does not seem to negatively add to sonic result. All good.
That’s a good summation. You can adjust the boost upwards more than two dB to address severe dips but if you had many it might not be wise . I chose to use panels and moving speaker to do that.

I’m using it with my Legacy Whispers and Jriver with good results…just don’t upsample over 192khz, it doesn’t like it at all. I’m satisfied with it now. The Whispers had a decent holographic soundstage and but Bacch took it to an almost wrap around feeling on some music selections.
