Upsampling my transport

I use a JaysAudio CDT2-MK3 into my Directstream. I just discovered my Jays transport has an Upsampling button on te remote. Thought I might give it a try, but I want to make sure Upsampling in the transport won’t cause any difficulties with the Directstream architecture.
Anybody done this?

This will not hurt anything. The DSD handles all incoming data the same.

Try it and see if you like the sound.

No worries, it works fine.

From the SQ point of view, I prefer my Jay’s output unupsampled, but YMMV.
