I have a couple of USB-related questions:
Is the USB port on the DirectStream USB 2.0 or USB 3.0?
Is the PSAudio Windows USB driver we used for the PWD required for the DirectStream?

Supports the PWD, the DS and the Nuwave Phono Converter. It’s version 1.61.0.0 (you can check in the device control panel, select the PS Audio Perfectwave DSD and check the driver properties.)
Am I correct in assuming that, when connecting the DS to a PC and an amplifier, one has to choose between either a long USB cable/short interconnects or a short USB cable/long interconnects, the short USB cable combination would be the better choice?

Some prefer to use USB cables that (in some cases) are more expensive. If so there are cost tradeoffs between the USB cabling and the interconnects.
