Using Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 with Laptop and DS DAC

I have a Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 between my Sonore and DS DAC. I want to use my laptop and Focus Fidelity software to implement a roon DSP for room correction. My question is can I take the USB out from my laptop and send to the Matrix and it will send to DAC just like from the Sonore? Do I have to do any configureation on the Matrix and Computer for that to work?

I think you can, but you have to download the driver from their web page: https://www.matrix-digi.com/drivers/Matrix_Audio_All_Driver.zip
