Which was the point of my original post !!
As a 17 year old kid I realized that if I shifted that Van manually (It would normally shift from 1st -> 2nd -> Drive BEFORE you got thru the intersection) that it was SLIGHTLY faster than the old gal with the walker beside me, so one night I man-shifted it from 1st…to 2nd… then at 40MPH - THRU drive, PAST neutral and RIGHT into reverse… After the rear wheel lock up skid for several feet, I fearfully shifted into park, started her back up & drove home. She ran for years after that. Probably still going today!
Why is it all the good ones just aren’t very pretty…?

Today’s vehicle is a Kia Sedona. With red & blue lights hidden in the taillights, fog lights, 3rd brake light & wig wag headlights. Siren behind the grille. Imagine getting pulled over by a soccer-mom mini van? More embarrassing than driving a (grossly mis-named) Sportsman Van.
I would pull over for a LEO riding a scooter.
I’ve yet to fitup a covert scooter, but I’d do it!

Due to trade in value loss on 1 month old bike placed the Harley out of reach, sadly.
ok, well, the deal is done on the Miata. Shipping from Florida to Minnesota – and I might have it middle of next week. Supposed to have a heat wave here with temps reaching 60. Woohoo.
I guess I better get that R32 deal done tomorrow!
