Another in my cartridge-matching vinyl series.
I swear I don’t go looking for these, it just happens.

Truth be told I don’t have this album but with all the Mothers postings I’m just trying to keep my end up. The Fugs were introduced to me in 1969 by the young lady who’d eventually become my wife. Everything else being equal, the Mothers of Invention were the greater commercial success by far.
F*ck - Pardon My French
I wish the band F*ck had considered this forum’s rules before naming themselves.
How would they have known?
truly, these were things a band simply couldn’t grasp!
Speaking of the Fugs, I have this 1966 FUGs on ESP. Yes, I’d agree the Mothers were it in their day, while the Fugs were a failed attempt at social disruption.
Being politically correct is a later concept, for sure. In truth, those of us who were there doing those times strived to be just the opposite we just didn’t know quite how to phrase it.
Thanks for the reference. Quite honestly, I don’t even remember the LP she had. I do remember the name of one of the band’s founders: Tuli Kupferberg. He was from NYC, maybe even Brooklyn, as both she and I were.
