Why this version of the album has the line (in chipmunk voices) “we were sent here by god” reversed when the original releases had it forward and perfectly audible I can only speculate?
The guitar has a severe case of brewer’s droop. I believe Mark Knopfler was a former member of the English rock band 'Brewer’s Droop.!
Pretty sure this album has been mentioned before, but I really love it and I think it sounds spectacular on my system.
I kinda always assumed he missed that connotation, or maybe he felt so secure in his, er, manhood that it didn’t worry him 
Age will get him in the end 
It is a weird album, but it does have some crackin’ tracks on it.
