Too kind, Dirk, too kind! Unfortunately if you look at reviews in Gramophone you will see that prose style is not adequate by itself; you need a depth of sensibility and scholarship which I most singularly lack
I very briefly thought this was a METTTaAAAALLLL album with someone like Ronnie dio on the cover
Meanwhile I just heard this on the radio - takes me back, a very unusual arrangement and recording for a pop single, even if the singer was a bit of a plonker
You’d be a breath of fresh air to that readership of that I am sure!
