Not sure how to describe this other than it’s James’ music. Funky, rock, jazzy, hip. .. I like it.

Sonically, I thought it was great. Musically, I enjoyed the first track with Sting and Andy Summers (“Murder by Numbers”). I did not realize when I cued up the album on Qobuz that there were guest vocalists on all tracks except the last one. I found the other vocal numbers less enjoyable than “Murder by Numbers.”

A friend of a friend had a garage sale a couple of weekends ago, and they had a pretty large collection of records. I didn’t get a chance to go, but my friend, bless her, asked for the records that didn’t sell, and she held on to them for me for a couple of weeks. Today, I got to go through them.
Over half were damaged and needed to be sent to the record store in the sky. Approximately fifty records looked promising. I cleaned seven of them this afternoon and have been playing them to see how they held up. A Nat King Cole record could not be cleaned enough to get rid of the snap-crackle-pop, so that is also headed to the record store in the sky. The rest are shown above for your viewing and my listening pleasure.
