Great Canadian Guitarist, a very lightly style! play often with Dizzy, 
saw a show in the North where he was support for Dizzy playing and Moe Koffman playing!
he was there only stop in Quebec and it was way way up north, sometimes Miracle happen!
for them it was a bumpy ride to go that north to do one night show and leave Canada after that!
When i saw the owner and ask him, how he manage that, he said he call Dizzy and ask him and he said Yeah we will go! all band, that he share with with Moe, doing first part!
To this day, many many decade after that, if I remember well, this is the only all star jazz that happen in north!
is this what we call a momentum!

Since that, fan for Live recording when listening music, it make me time travelling! the band, the stage, sometimes the smokes, and the pint of beer! (that my friend Skip introduce me the “Piston” [ bourbon and beer, a small glass of bourbon with a pint of Beer]). When Skip was playing and I enter the bar and with my hand I do a piston movement to him asking, he always noddle with his head “yes”!
His wish was to play to death, and God gave him his wish, at Lion d’Or he was playing, and the next morning feel dizzy (not a pun) and die!
