"Kayhan Kalhor (Persian: کیهان کلهر,[2][3] born on 24 November 1964) is an Iranian Kurdish kamancheh and setar player, and composer.[4][5] He has received three Grammy Award for Best Traditional World Music Album nominations.[6] Kalhor has also earned two nominations and won one Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album as a member of the Silk Road Ensemble.[7] "

I and a handful of friends had tickets for Sunday’s show since that was the day Hendrix was scheduled to play (he actually appeared Monday morning around 8 or 9 AM). By Sunday the New York State Thruway was closed for many miles around the venue and it was impossible to get to by car so we never did make it.
