So excited for this, this is the first album from a producer that was making stuff in his bedroom when I discovered him on social media in 2020, finally got signed to the Astalwerks label in 2024, did his first club tour over 2025 finishing on the Cercle stage which is arguably the biggest club circuit on the planet, and in January this year released this album, thankfully he listened to fans and the vinyl has just arrived after a slight delay.

Reissues mostly Discovery sides, recorded before Discovery was sold to Savoy and before Bert recorded for Savoy.
Pretty neat stuff, most of which have Duke Jordan on piano and many of which have Sal Salvador on guitar, and one of which is the very first recording of drummer Joe Morello.
The Silk Road Ensemble was founded by world-renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma
and is a part of Silkroad (arts organization) and originally "a loose collective of as many as 59 musicians, composers, arrangers, visual artists and storytellers from Eurasian cultures.
2024 saw release of “American Railroad” with Rhiannon Giddens, who became the Artistic Director of the Silk Road Ensemble.
