A nice piece of imagery which I fear will remain with me for a long time.
Seeing this record always brings me back to when i took it out from the library in maybe late 70s. Bad Bad Leroy Brown was the first song on the album and I schiit you not it looked like someone went at it with an SOS pad. Absolutely unplayable.
Other songs were fine (if a little scratchy), but in it its sad short life, BBLB had essentially been erased from the vinyl.
Thx i will check that Box
Agh given up on the drilling for now.
My kingdom for a decent pillar drill with no play!! (See note 1) as Richard the Third might have said, but probably didn’t. I’ll try again later when I am rested
-
Note 1: my kingdom is very small, hence the cheapo pillar drill. (See note 2)
-
Note 2: “my kingdom is small” is not a euphemism, my willy is of course massive ( see note 3)
-
Note 3: this may not be true (see note 4)
-
Note 4: can sub notes (with or without an asterisk) have their own sub notes?
Anyway music:
Thursday nights edition of Unclassified on BBC Radio 3 available on iPlayer at bbc.co.uk, those elsewhere in the world may need a geographic VPN thingy to access, your milage may vary!
You can always claim early onset Alzheimer’s. For me it has some legitimacy.
Insanely funky fusion from three masters of their instruments.
But WTH is up with the ridiculous/hideous album cover art?
New on Qobuz. HR. The first half of this album was easy to listen to, although to class it as easy listening might be unfair. Then in got a bit more ‘progressive’, with some heavy thumping of the unfortunate instrument. Each to his own. The sound and imaging are OK, and Senor Aguiar seems skillful enough.
I call them senior moments.
