That’s on Thursday, the wife has decided she has worked enough and began filing for retirement yesterday. The SSA (federal) offices are closed and the TN (offices are also) so we have been struggling through all the paper work online. This morning I’m scanning in information and filling out documents for insurance. Hmmmmm my real early morning playing of music might be curtailed some… ha

Not so good… It’s a minefield!!
I know all about the complexities of filling in forms, etc. Two days ago a deer run straight in front of my car causing extensive damage to my car and sadly terminal damage to the deer! Currently in talks with the insurance company and filling forms, etc. I will buy a new car … new registrations start at the beginning of September so I will run a hire car until then.

Did you keep the deer, here in Tennessee you can keep the road kill!!!

What is so frustrating is you come to a point they want a copy of your birth certificate, so you go an find it, scan it in as a pdf file and submit the file then it tells you the file is too large, so you have to go back and reduce the size and by the time you do all of that the session has timed out… grrrrrrrrrrrrr

We can keep road kill here… Poor thing suffered enough with death without the added indignity of me eating it .!!

I think I got one quart jar of canned deer meat left, would be nice to refill the cupboard up with fresh canned deer for the upcoming winter.

Yes that sounds very familiar - happens with “sick note” scans with the DWP, only the criteria they set for file type and size render it unreadable without some jiggery pokery in a graphics package…
