New on Qobuz. HR. An album from the ‘Tyneside Handel’. I believe these were earlier pieces before he had found his own voice, but they are still very good. I am originally from Tyneside and thus see him as a local boy. It was encouraging to encounter an album which wasn’t by the Avison Ensemble. Sound and performance both good. Very enjoyable.
