lonson said YES, that one sounds great, and I love what they did with the SACD of "John Wesley Harding" . . . wow!Wow is right. Been listening the last few days. Rob LoVerde worked a miracle with this one. He pulled out a nice bottom end that I never knew was there.
One of my favorite records John Lewis ever made or appeared on. A very nice arrangement of material for Trio.
Love Sarah Jarosz, Song Up In Her Head is still a great great listen for me.
Joe Williams “That Kind of Woman/Sentimental & Melancholy”
I really like Joe Williams on Roulette
Meticulously crafted future cartoon funk
The recent Japanese Warner CD. One of my favorite Basie Roulettes, and it sounds so good. All Frank Foster compositions and arrangements. A nice chill pill.
Robert Ludwig SACD from 2004. Some albums never grow old, no matter how many listens. Ludwig did outstanding work here.
Thanks for sharing this!
Not sure why that photo didn’t come out. Corrected it with a different image of the recording cover.
Right now.
My favorite Joe Lovano CD
Been doing some fine-tuning of the system and using this (both cd and LP versions) as a test. Love this music, can keep playing it over and over!
