Modest Mouse! that will be the day…
Try “Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen” on some of the big rigs on this site. You will be impressed but it all!!
Going thru my very dusty bazillion albums, I didn’t even know I had this! It must have been my father’s. Sometimes mono is better.
Nina Simone is bad ass.

I love you Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ I love you
Yes I do
I love you Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ I love you
Yes I do
And on the lazy days
The dogs dissolve and drain away
The world it goes
And all awaits
The day we are awaiting
Up and over
We go through the wave and undertow
I will float until I learn how to swim
Inside my mother in a garbage bin
Until I find myself again again ’
Up and over we go
Mouths open wide and spitting still
And I will spit until I learn how to speak
Up through the doorway as the sideboards creek
With them ever proclaiming me me oh
Up and over
We go the weight it sits on down and I don’t know
I will shout until they know what I mean
I mean the marriage of a dead dog sing
And a synthetic flying machine machine
Oh-Oohh-Oh-Oh
Oh-Oohh-Oh-Oh
Oh-Oohh-Oh-Oh
Oh-Oohh-Oh-Oh
(Okay)

Disc 1. Sounding really good this morning.
Yesterday I was getting pumped for, summer, today is gloomy, 39 Farenheight, and rainy: ugly spring day in Chicagoland. South side opening day is Thursday, I’m sure the weather will suck like it almost always does on opening day.

Disc 2…just kept going. Short listening session this morning. Lots of broken things around the house to fix. Disposal, fuel hose in pressure washer, screen door hydraulic closers…and a work out to fit in. Need to get off my ass!

I have that Haydn box and really like the sound. Need to dig it out again soon.
Wow, I was happy to discover this was released, and it’s sublime!
Paula & Jacques Morelenbaum “Live in Italia–Ommagio a Jobim”
This looks especially promising. Thanks!
